When envisioning the type of person carefully crafting, wrapping and shipping your spiritual gift box, I doubt you picture a former occupational therapist, a mother, and explorer. I fail to believe that you can picture Christina, owner of Karuna Gift Co, in her entirety. That you can see her story with the clarity that you see your own.

Not only does Christina package and sell phenomenal gift boxes, but she also sends her story with each box. Shipping her dedication towards customers, and mailing quality products sealed with good intention. Christina's passion is the accumulation of her spiritual curiosity and attraction to universal philosophy. 

My experience with Karuna Gift Co unfolded as followed: 

After a short stint of grateful anticipation, the package quickly arrived. The packaging was aesthetically pleasing and colorful. My hand gravitated towards the neatly packaged rose quartz first. It came accompanied by a thought-full and informative note that read,

“Rose quartz is the stone of universal love. It is associated with the heart chakra and promotes self-love, deep inner healing, and feelings of peace”.

The note's second paragraph details how to use the healing stone. Christina writes,

“Rose Quartz is an excellent stone for meditating as it has a gentle, loving energy. You can lay down and place it over your heart chakra or hold it in your hand while meditating”.

I followed the instructions described in Christina's note. I placed the weight of the crystal on my chest, focusing its energy on my heart chakra. The stone is physically beautiful, sporting a cool and calming pink hue. However, the crystal's outer presence is only the first topic of admiration. As the stone laid upon my chest, I allowed myself to meditate, I began to feel the gentle and loving energy Christina mentioned.

The rose quartz allowed me to fall into the beating rhythm of my heart. It steadied my meditation and calmed my racing thoughts. The only thing my mind allowed me to ponder was the reality of my oneness.

The rose quartz gave me peace, comfort, and resounding clarity. The result of the healing stone is none other than a testament to Christina's last paragraph. The last entry reads,

“It’s also ideal to use as a worry stone. Whenever you are feeling vulnerable or anxious, hold firmly in between your fingers and feel its energy flow. It serves as a tactile reminder that the greatest love in this world can come from within, and that you are enough”.

The worth of Karuna Gift Co’s crystals is as much evident in the words of Christina’s note, as it is in my personal testimony. 

After the success of my rose quartz meditation, I was eager to try the comfort blend herbal tea. The beautiful label adorned with rich purples blending into soothing pinks read, “Karuna Organic Chai Rooibos”. Followed by the lines, “Comfort Blend Herbal Tea” the excitement I had to taste the warming spices of this ginger, cinnamon, green cardamom, and natural vanilla mix was indescribable.

As a self-proclaimed tea connoisseur, I hurriedly opened the packaging. Quickly dipping the quality tea sachet into piping hot water.  Immediately as the premium continents graced the water an aroma filled the air. The aroma was sweet yet savory, beckoning me to sip and taste the delicious tea that’s scent drew me closer. Within the gift box came honey sticks that were labeled as perfect for coffee or tea. I took the little label's advice and placed one into my drink, stirring it and watching my tea spiral and wave.  

I fell in love with the first sip, it was not long before I was staring at the blankness of an empty cup. The tea was beyond satisfying and intrinsically perfect. Rooibos is known for its calming and comforting properties, and it surely completed its mission with me. Before I knew it my body and mind entered a complete state of floating bliss. I wanted none other than to see where else Christina's products would take me on this self-care journey. 

So, I decided I would sample her candle next; I opened the bronze and gold candle and immediately inhaled deeply. Rich honey-like scents filled my nose leaving a sweet lingering kiss. I dug through my gift box to find something to light the sweet candle, I was surprised and delighted to see complimentary matches. Christina's graciousness and attention to detail knows no bounds. Within a matter of seconds, the candle was easily lit, I watched the wick catch fire and glow.

As the candle happily ignited, I placed my hands around my last gift. Palo Santo + Selenite balanced in between my fingers. I will admit that I had never heard about Palo Santo, so I made sure to closely read Christina's attached letter.

I took in each word and fulfilled every direction, at once the smoke was released into the air. I watched it dance and twirl, creating intricate shapes and patterns above my very head. I decided I would double up, not only burning the smoke but also utilizing the selenite crystal. The selenite also came with thoughtful directions that read,

As the smoke watched from above, I paced my room holding the delicate selenite. I imagined every section of the room being blessed by the selenite, while displacing any negative energy. I thought about malicious energy cowering beneath the power of the ageless selenite. Once I had covered every nook and cranny of my tiny apartment with smoke and blessing; I lovingly placed all gifts back into their respective packaging. I picked up the box and let it sit on my nightstand. Serving as some form of prized spiritual centerpiece. Feeling as though my self-care ritual was completed, I nuzzled into bed comforted by Palos Santos lingering fragrance, and selenite's positive protection.
